Patrick O’Farrell is the Head of Facilities Management at Nationwide Building Society. His teams are responsible for managing an estate of almost 700 properties, including branches, admin centres and data centres. The portfolio is a mix of owned, leased and services offices.
Patrick, a certified member of the IWFM, supported the development of the NEC4 suite of Facilities Management contracts to help promote the best practise of procurement of Facilities Management services, played a key part in the emergency in-sourcing of FM services to Nationwide Building Society upon the collapse of Carillion and also led the facilities management team in its role supporting the Nationwide’s COVID response. Married for over 30 years with 2 daughters, in his free time Patrick enjoys long distance walking, watching Bath Rugby and gardening.
