Ed Hoban

Ed is an Associate Director at The Furniture Practice – an international furniture specialist that helps clients to make the best furniture decisions. As Head of Workplace, Ed has a decade of experience successfully delivering major projects across a diverse range of sectors in the UK and EMEA regions.

Ed specialises in leading furniture consultancy and procurement strategies which drive key project aspirations and create long-term value for clients. He has recently worked as Furniture Project Lead for global businesses including Adobe, American Express and Ashurst. Ed is highly experienced in engaging with both client-side and professional consultant teams to devise tailored consultancy strategies, incorporating areas such as employee engagement, programme management and sustainability.

Ed is particularly interested in the role that furniture can play in creating an enhanced workplace experience for businesses and their employees, as well as how the use of methods such as co-creation in workspace design can lead to a greater sense of employee ownership, engagement and optimal performance.
