Faye Robinson MSc MSLL

Faye has over 16 years of experience working as an architectural lighting designer. Her experience covers all building sectors. Her professional experience spans every form of lighting design practice; independent lighting consultancy, within a luminaire manufacturer team, lighting design & supply consultancy, and also within M&E and civil engineering companies. She started her own lighting consultancy Treacle Studio in 2022, providing bespoke and well-considered lighting designs for interior and exterior spaces. She is able to apply her extensive building sector, lighting technology and commercial knowledge to each project, and the vision to deliver the service & aesthetic the client expects.

Faye originally trained as a scenographer at Bretton Hall, Leeds University before developing a passion for Architectural Lighting Design. She then attended UCL’s Bartlett MSc Light & Lighting course before beginning her career as an architectural lighting designer. She is a member of the CIBSE Society of Light & Lighting and outside of the lighting industry, a mentor for The Girls Network.
