I am an architect with a working background in strategy. The interest in strategy comes from my time at the pioneering workplace firm DEGW back in the nineties, while the technology side can be partly blamed on studying engineering before going to architecture school, so I confess to being a nerd.
I help organisations tackle challenges that did not exist a decade ago, and which cannot be resolved by conventional design processes. The emerging field of data modelling can fill some of these gaps.
Technology does not have all the answers, but it can often help. Culture and meaning in people’s lives are more important. It’s a fuzzy world, and instead of trying to remove the fluff, we must understand and tolerate our ignorance and uncertainty.
