Alessandro Ranaldi

Alessandro Ranaldi is Head of Workplace Consultancy at Foster + Partners. Through design, research and analysis, he develops strategies for optimising the working environment, both for the experience of the user as well as overall business performance. With more than twenty-five years of practice in workplace strategy, real estate and design, he has worked with clients across the globe.

Before joining Foster + Partners in 2016, Alessandro served as Design Strategy Director for Europe at Gensler, based in the London office. He also spent sixteen years in senior leadership roles at DEGW, significantly influencing workplace strategy development. Additionally, he was part of the management team at Strategy+, AECOM Germany.

His international experience includes implementing global workplace strategies for large corporate clients such as PGA Tour, JPMC, Bloomberg and KKR. He also has considerable experience in developing strategies for governments, mixed-use and commercial buildings, working with developers and real estate companies the Middle East and APAC.

In addition to undertaking public speaking engagements globally, he has taught workplace strategy at IED (European Institute of Design) and at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
