Lydia Randall

Lydia is a Director of BDG architecture + design, an international practice with studios in London, New York and Sao Paulo, and is responsible for the development of sustainability strategy. Her background linking engineering and architectural design provides analytical insight and problem-solving expertise. As a global account lead, she works with international clients including WPP and LEGO, fostering strong relationships and developing adaptable and responsive workspace strategies. Recognition of change as a key driver has led Lydia to develop unique skills in collaborative briefing and communication strategies. With over 20 years’ experience in commercial architecture, her understanding of dynamic organisations, cultural influences and environmental pressures is essential in developing innovative and resilient building designs. Her experience has given her insight into the many challenges facing the built environment today and equipped her to lead teams developing initiatives to mitigate these. To further her knowledge Lydia is currently undertaking a masters degree in sustainability leadership at the University of Cambridge.
