Matt Waring

Matt Waring is the Editor of arc magazine, the world’s leading publication for lighting design in architecture.

With a background in journalism, Matt joined [d]arc media as Assistant Editor of arc in 2017 (when it was still known as mondo*arc) and has spent his time since fully immersing himself into the world of lighting design, throwing himself headfirst into all aspects of the magazine, and eventually rising to the position of Editor in 2019.

Now, he leads the publication, sourcing, co-ordinating, writing and editing the creative output for the magazine, while also managing the day-to-day activity across its website and various social media accounts. Matt also supports [d]arc media’s portfolio of events – the [d]arc awards, LiGHT trade show, and networking event [d]arc sessions.
