2023 Highlights

Workspace Design Talks

Listen to the leading lights from A&D and end-users talking about the latest trends, challenges and innovations. Recent disruption has caused huge change in how we go about designing our workplaces, and this is the place to find out what’s next. The Talks Lounge has been beautifully curated by The Furniture Practice.

The Lounge by BDP

‘Change by Design’ is a lounge space concept for the Workspace Design Show, carefully curated by BDP. It is a discussion piece surrounding the current climate crisis, and questions the impact of workplace design on the natural environment. It represents a problem-solving approach that showcases the use of recycled, reused and bio materials in design projects helping to shape a low-carbon future.

Entrance by Gensler

It feels like there has never been a more exciting and yet equally unknown time in the future of workplace design. We are inspired by this synergy between a new era of workplace and a new outlook on how we can care for our planet, and how we as designers can affect that through pioneering and sustainable design. It’s about fresh perspectives to enable new ways of working and create unique and tailored destinations for people, hence the overarching theme of Rebirth. By Becky Spenceley, Design Director at Gensler.

“Deciding to exhibit at the Workspace Design Show was great for the AllSfär team. After such a long time of not seeing people face to face it was an ideal opportunity for us to meet highly relevant contacts and showcase our latest products and colour range. The show was a huge success for us, delivering new leads and quality enquiries. We’re already planning our stand for the next show in 2023!”

“What the workplace sector needs right now is expertise to come together to explore and experiment on our future places. The Workspace Design Show Talk’s offered just that – providing an environment where all parts of the design supply chain put their heads together to question the possibilities we have, as we all navigate the next normal. It was fantastic to be a part of a panel of experts who will help shape this future.”

Matthew Holloway

Principal, Grimshaw Architects
“Given the 18 months we have been through the Workspace Design Show was pure joy – to be able to meet designers, manufacturers and suppliers in person again for real connection, conversations and collaboration. The calibre of talks and panellists was exceptionally high, discussing real and relevant topics and I was honoured to chair a session. I’m looking forward to the next show in February 2023.”
