Matt Jackson
Director, Head of Workplace at BDG architecture + design
Matt has 25 years of experience in Workplace design, working through a number of roles focused on Project and Design Direction with key leadership of clients through process and design development.
Matt has worked with a diverse variety of business and organisation types, ranging from Professional & Financial Service Firms to Technology & Media companies. Through this experience, he has developed and delivered a wide variety of workplaces strategies and following designs to precisely suit the needs of the client but pushing the opportunity where possible.
Matts education included a competition success in the RSA Student Design Awards, his career has included 14 years at MCM Architecture, 6 years at Gensler and the last 4 years at BDG architecture + design.
Matt is a member of the British Council of Offices, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and actively takes part in many industry wide initiatives across the London network.
Opinion and projects have been published in a number of key industry journals including US Interior Design Magazine, OnOffice and Architects Journal, and he has been part of project design teams that have been fortunate to receive British Council of Office and other key industry awards.
Matt is currently a Director and Head of Workplace at BDG architecture and design, responsible for project and client leadership. external market focus and various areas of internal management.
Matt believes that design consideration shapes the way we live our lives and is a non-stop exploration and learning process to continually look at improvement and evolution. Teams play a vital part in delivering the best design, everyone can play their part.
