Following on from successful shows in both the UK and the Netherlands this year, Workspace Design Show is pleased to announce the first names to be added to the speaker programme for its London 2024 show.

Workspace Design Show, the leading trade show bringing together the UK workplace design community, returns to London’s Business Design Centre for its eagerly awaited third UK edition from 27-28 February 2024.

CIBSE Build2Perform Live is back for its eighth edition, and this year's event promises to be an exceptional gathering of industry professionals, thought leaders, exhibitors, and emerging talents.

The FIS Innovation Awards are now open for entry, welcoming pioneers and visionaries from the Finishes and Interiors sector. The awards aim to recognize innovations that address industry needs and demonstrate evidence of adoption or planned use in commercial settings.

Oasis Plants transformed the entire floor of Globant Offices, enhancing its aesthetic appeal with a lush interior landscape and improving the workspace's flow. They opted for hydroculture plants throughout the project and skillfully created undulating mounds of LECA (Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate), covered with preserved flat and ball moss to create a more informal and inviting landscape.

The Oasis Plants team completed a stunning installation for Stevens & Bolton LLP in Surrey. Throughout the joinery and shelving planting, they incorporated hydroculture plants, while opting for replica foliage for high and ceiling raft plantings.

Element Four delivered the UK’s highest-scoring Fitwel Certified project two years in a row. Sustainability consultancy Element Four has achieved the Fitwel Best in Building Health Highest Scoring Project recognition for two years in a row.

CoLab is the outcome of Pearson Lloyd’s intensive project with Senator exploring emerging higher-education models and changing approaches to work. In collaboration with the Trent Institute for Learning and Teaching (TILT) at Nottingham Trent University, Pearson Lloyd identified the need for an informal, multi-modal and multi-posture tech-enabled learning space that we referred to as the ‘café classroom’.

Twenty years after Squire & Partners first worked on the building, the members’ Club and subsequent private HQ building has been transformed into 100,000 sq ft of prime multi-tenant workspace, with 10,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art amenities, wellness facilities and rooftop terrace.

In the age of hybrid working, what can be done to encourage people back into the office? The international Silhouette Awards has announced the winners of its 2023 programme in a virtual celebration which took place on 1st March.
